ชุดนี้เป็นมิเตอร์วัด Total Chlorine ในสารละลาย มีหลอดคิวเวทให้ 2 หลอด ตัวเครื่อง(
มีปุ่มเดียว) และน้ำยา วิธีใช้วัดคือ
นำคิวเวทใส่สารละลายที่ต้องการวัดค่าคลอรีนลงไปซึ่งหลังจากใส่ผงสารเคมีลงไปแล้ว
สารละลายในคิวเวทถ้ามีคลอรีน จะเปลี่ยนเป็นสีชมพูอ่อน
ให้ใส่คิวเวทลงในเครื่องอีกครั้งแล้วกดปุ่ม
แล้วนำคิวเวทออกมาแล้วใส่ผงสารละลายที่อยู่ในซอง เขย่าให้ทั่วกัน
แล้วนำเข้าเครื่องวัดอีกครั้งจึงสามารถอ่านค่าได้

รุ่นนี้มีหน้าตาเหมือนกันทุกประการกับมิเตอร์วัดค่าคลอรีนอิสระ (Free Chlorine)
แต่ว่าค่าที่อ่านได้จะหมายถึงค่า Total Chlorine(ให้ท่านดูตามชาร์ตครับ)
ผมอยากจะให้ท่านอ่านเรื่อง Free Cholrine อีกครั้งแล้วท่านก็จะเข้าใจเรื่องของ Total
Chlorine ทั้งหมดเองครับ เชิญอ่านครับ
TIPS FOR AN ACCURATE MEASUREMENT
- It is important that the sample does not contain any debris.
- Whenever the cuvette is placed into the measurement cell, it must dry by
outside, and completely free of fingerprints, oil or dirt.
- shaking the cuvette can generate the bubbles, causing higher readings
To obtain accurate measurement, remove such bubbles by swiriling or by
gently tapping the cuvette.
- Do not let the reacted sample stand for too long after reagent is added,
or accuracy will be lost.
- after the reading it is important to immediately discard the sample,
otherwise the glass might become permanently stained.
ศึกษาวิธีใช้งานเครื่องอย่างละเอียดเป็นดังนี้
TAKING MEASUREMENTS
- Turn the meter on by pressing the button. After all the segments are
displayed, "C.1","Add" appears with "Press" blinking, the meter is ready.
- Fill the cuvette 10 ml of unreacted sample and replace the cap. Place the
cuvette into the meter and close the meter's cap.
- Press the button. When the display shows "Add","C.2" with "Press"
blinking the meter is zeroed.
- Remove the cuvette, open it and add the content of one packet of HI 711-
25 reagent. Replace the cap and shake gently for 20 seconds. Replace the
cuvette into the meter.
- Place and hold the button until the timer is displayed on the LCD
- The instrument directly displays the concentration of total chlorine in ppm.
The meter automatically turns off after 2 minutes.
