This EC/TDS/Temperature Tester features a stability indicator and hold feature to prompt the user when to take the reading & freeze the display for easy and accurate recording. Plus this handy meter have automatic temperature compensation, auto shutoff, and low-battery indicator, 6 units measurements (µS, mS, ppm, ppt, °C, °F), 2-point calibration, adjustable TDS factor, adjustable temperature coefficient, dual display - temperature & conductivity with ATC values, and selectable °C & °F. This new meter have a stainless steel temperature probe for faster and more precise temperature measurement.
836-1 also offers water proof membrane keypad with very high accuracy, quick response and easy to calibrate. Conductivity measurements are temperature dependent, if the temperature increases, conductivity increases thus 836-1 introduces Reference Temperature (also known as Normalization Temperature) to allow the comparison of conductivity results obtained at different temperature.
